When we first started working with the polymer casting material, it reminded me of a lot of the cases for phones, the iPhone in particular. When I then heard that phones (probably) do well as subjects for vacuum forming, I decided to make a phone. My original plan was to make a mold from my iPhone using the vacuum form, then cast around a printed (or laser-etched, or something) "screen" with static images.
