FabLab@School #2 (2009)
MPEI 1502, Moscow, Russia


The first FabLab@School in a high-school started construction in late 2009 and was officially opened on June 2011. The lab is located at the 1502 MPEI high-school in Moscow, Russia, and was generously funded by Euan Baird, former CEO of the Schlumberger Corporation, and implemented in partnership withSchlumberger's educational foundation,SEED. Since the opening, students at the lab have won 
several international prizes in science and engineering.

FabLab@School #3 (2012)
Castilleja School, Palo Alto, USA

The third FabLab@School came about with a 2-year agreement for lab implemenation, professional development, and research with the 
Castilleja School, an all-girls school in Palo Alto. We opened the lab on March 2012 and have held several teacher preparation programs. The girls' work was featured on the 
Thinguiverse/Makerbot website, and also on the
 Mercury News.

FabLab@School #4 (Fall 2012)
DSIL School, Bangkok, Thailand

We are currently working with the team of the DSIL school in Thailand, and the University of Chiang Mai (Learning Innovation Lab) to create a FabLab@School in one of the most innovative constructivist schools in the world. The lab should open in late 2012.

FabLab@School #5 (Fall 2012)
East Palo Alto Academy, East Palo Alto, USA

The students from the East Palo Alto Academy were the first ones to be exposed to digital fabrication at Stanford, since early 2009. Now we are working with the EPAA team and private donors to open a lab. The Castilleja School is supporting the project as well.
